慈愛公義的主，

我眾因Bondi 海灘的槍擊悲劇而心碎。

無辜的生命被奪去，家庭被撕裂，

社區因無理的暴力而受傷。

我眾譴責那些殺害無辜的殘忍行為，

並將審判與刑罰交託在祢公義的手中。

求主教導：

我眾不要以仇恨回應仇恨，

不要讓報復在心中扎根。

又求主幫助，把憤怒交在祢面前，

深信祢的公義必然臨到，

祢的真理必在黑暗中照耀。

醫治受傷的身心靈，

以祢溫柔的懷抱圍繞一切哀傷的人。

堅固那些服事與保護的人，

使他們成為關懷、勇氣與和平的器皿。

保守悉尼免受恐懼與苦毒，

阻止仇恨如火蔓延。

將哀哭化為憐憫，

將悲傷化為團結，

將憤慨化為聖潔的渴望和平。

慈悲公義的神，

祈求邪惡不得勝，

仇恨不得扎根，

祢的光引領我眾前行。

靠着基督，祂以愛勝過暴力，

【Prayer for Sydney Bondi Beach Gunshot Tragedy】

Merciful and Righteous God,

our hearts are broken by the tragedy at Bondi Beach. 

Innocent lives have been taken, families torn apart,

and a community wounded by senseless violence.

We condemn the cruelty of those who killed the innocent,

and we entrust their punishment and judgment into Your holy hands.

Lord, teach us:

do not let hatred answer hatred,

do not let revenge take root in our hearts.

Instead, help us to lay our anger before You,

trusting that Your justice will come,

and Your truth will shine through the darkness.

Comfort the grieving families,

heal the wounded bodies and spirits,

and surround all who mourn with Your tender embrace.

Strengthen those who serve and protect,

that they may be agents of care, courage, and peace.

Guard this city from fear and bitterness.

Stop hatred from spreading like fire.

Turn our mourning into compassion,

our sorrow into solidarity,

and our outrage into a holy longing for peace.

God of mercy and justice,

we pray that evil will not prevail,

that hatred will not take root,

and that Your light will guide us forward.

In Christ, who overcame violence with love,

we place our hope, our tears, and our prayers.
